After reviewing over 50 video submissions, a panel comprised of local bloggers and personalities named Brandi Kay the Garden Court Condos “I Love Detroit” Contest winner last night!

Despite the general consensus, Detroit’s economy isn’t all bad…at least virtually speaking. Thanks to a few innovative imagineers, there now exists a place where you can buy or “inchvest” in micro real estate for one dollar per square inch.

Who says Detroit is living in the past? Not us! We’re steadily joining the rest of the world in the online video-making craze.

Detroit is quickly becoming a hub for new media & technology start-ups, gatherings, and movements. This October, the 140 Characters Conference will be added to the growing list of technology & social media-driven events trying Detroit on for size.
